HBO

The eCompanyStore solution for HBO serves the logo merchandise needs of the company's 2,400 employees, its 8,000 cable affiliates and the 85,000 employees of AOL Time Warner, Inc. The solution highlights both the creative and technical talents of eCompanyStore.

Creatively, eCompanyStore was tasked with developing a selection of merchandise for the flagship HBO brand, as well as for its wildly successful original programming properties Sex and the City, The Sopranos, and Oz. The result is a selection of products that satisfies some of the most sophisticated and demanding marketers in the entertainment industry.

Technically, eCompanyStore developed an extensive system of cost-center mapping to comply with HBO's accounting and settlement systems. eCompanyStore also developed a proprietary solution that enables the design and management of their co-op merchandise programs. Lastly, the solution employs a sophisticated password and purchase verification system, ensuring that only authorized purchasers can access the proprietary products. Access to the site is restricted to employees and affiliates of HBO and AOL Time Warner.
